We have also shared details of our Local Heroes programme where, working in partnership with SportsAid, we are providing financial support and recognition to over 250 emerging young sports people identified each year from local communities across Britain. By the end of 2012, we will have supported 1000 athletes with funding to help with the costs of their travel, equipment and training.
